Energy Practice Leader job in Houston

We have a rare opportunity! A successful and growing insurance office is seeking a Practice Leader to develop their domestic energy division. There is equity opportunity to for the right candidate!

The chosen candidate will have a proven track record in writing / managing the onshore, midstream, upstream and suppliers accounts. They are not looking for international or E&P business. You will need to have 15 years or more of experience with at least 5 managing a successful team. It is a plus if you have developed the department or turned around a failing department.

This is not a producer role, but a manangement opportunity. You must have strong company relationships, knowledge of their underwriting appetite and the capability of being the face of the division. You will be responsible for the creation, growth ad profitability of this division while having strong support for the other division leaders and producers.
