Large top 10 retail agency/brokerage is seeking a Construction Team Leader/Manager for the NYC Metro Region. Manage, train and develop existing team up to 10 servicing/technical staff as well as daily producer interaction. Responsible for expanding and building client relationships, carrier underwriting and marketing partnerships, manage and oversee renewal process with producers, overall daily account management, marketing activities as well as involvement with other related branch functions from a management level. To qualify, candidates should have 7-10 years of retail agency/brokerage and/or combination brokerage and underwriting of small to large construction accounts, ideally in the New York City marketplace. Proven leadership and commitment to continuing education. Strong background for all lines of commercial coverages. College degree preferred, Property & Casualty License required. MS Office Suite required. Strong technical, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills as well as proven background motivating and mentoring staff.
