A dynamic and client-focused independent insurance agency serving the Minnetonka, MN area is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager. With a commitment to excellence and personalized service, this agency strives to provide comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of each of their clients. 

Role Overview:


As a Commercial Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding the commercial insurance portfolio. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with clients, understanding their businesses, and providing expert guidance on insurance products and services. This is a hybrid remote position, offering the flexibility to work both in-office and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Conduct thorough insurance assessments to identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of policies, endorsements, and claims.
  • Proactively review client accounts to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and pricing on behalf of clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering risk management strategies and solutions to mitigate potential exposures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales or account management.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty) 
Salary:  Open
Bonus/Benefits:  $70,000-$90,000
