We seek an experienced Commercial Claim Litigation Specialist (General Liability, Casualty, Property). In this position you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle serious injury/damage claims involving moderate to large loss exposures in multi-jurisdictions, applying coverage, laws, and regulations.

This is a hybrid position that may work out of the following branch locations: Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Columbia, MO; Omaha, NE

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate all claims as the investigation develops and establish and adjust reserves as warranted
  • Manage and supervise a pending of litigated files
  • Work closely with defense counsel on defense strategy and collaborate on legal defense
  • Control expense of defense in line with file strategy and with collaboration with defense
  • Review all expense bills for appropriateness, accuracy
  • Negotiate claim settlements; attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of litigation management experience
  • General liability, Casualty, or Auto experience required

Compensation & Benefits
$90,000 to $105,000, bonus, competitive benefits

Salary:  $80,000 - $110,000
Bonus/Benefits:  $90k to $105k
