Job Description:

As a Cyber Liability Underwriting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our client's Cyber Liability underwriting team in the Central region. Reporting directly to Cyber Leader for the Central Zone, you will be responsible for managing a team of three underwriters while also contributing to the overall production goals of the region. We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of Cyber Liability underwriting experience, although preference will be given to those with extensive experience in the field. We are open to considering candidates who are currently leaders with any type of Professional Liability experience, as well as rock star Cyber Underwriters ready to step into a management role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of three underwriters, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

- Manage the underwriting process for Cyber Liability business in the Midwest region, working closely with retail brokers to achieve production targets.

- Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments in the Cyber Liability insurance space.

- Foster relationships with retail brokers and clients to enhance business opportunities and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of Cyber Liability underwriting experience; preference for candidates with additional experience.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

- Demonstrated track record of success in underwriting Cyber Liability risks and achieving production targets.

- Knowledge of retail and wholesale brokerage channels in the Midwest region is a plus.
