The MPL & Cyber Underwriting Leader will play a pivotal role in setting strategic goals and driving business growth within the Middle Market segment. This position does not entail direct management of personnel but instead involves overseeing and guiding the activities of managers within the department. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with exceptional sales skills coupled with a strong aptitude for higher-level training, strategic planning, and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and market penetration within the Middle Market segment.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients and partners to expand the MPL and Cyber portfolio.
• Underwriting Excellence: Ensure the effective underwriting of MPL and Cyber risks, maintaining high standards of risk assessment and pricing accuracy.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with underwriting teams to optimize workflow processes, enhance underwriting efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to underwriting managers and teams, offering training programs and resources to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
