Life and annuity carrier client, located in central TX, will hire a SVP of Annuity Sales & Distribution. Newly created opportunity for a seasoned annuity sales strategist to build a national annuity sales and distribution unit. (Will not include variable annuities.) Requires the ability to travel the US 20/35% of the time, working out of the home TX base. Will have 4/5 Field Wholesaler, Regional Directors, Account Development Managers reporting directly and will report to the President.

While the emphasis here is on annuity products, the client would additionally, like to see life sales and distribution background - similar to the background of a Chief Marketing Officer.

Not looking for a prospect who has only acted as a wholesaler. Must have annuity sales management experience on the carrier side. Experience in a medium to large sized carrier is preferred. 8 plus years of annuity sales management is required, more preferred. Requires supervisory experience. Must have ANNUITY PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE. SVP candidates must be able to come in and hit the ground running. This is not a position for someone to 'grow into'.

Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for meeting annuity production goals in these distribution channels: NMO, IMO, FMO, PPGA, GA, Bank and Broker/Dealer
Lead a diverse team of internal wholesalers, regional sales directors and account development managers to grow and manage annuity business
Develop measurement tools for performance and accountability of regional directors, wholesalers and managers
Drive distribution strategy, marketing prioritization, sales idea creation and coaching of National Wholesaling Team
Work with product design and actuaries to build new annuities and influence product development agenda

Looking for someone who can persuade, influence and enhance a positive and creative sales culture. Looking for a relationship builder and someone who can develop managers and consultants. Must be well organized and a problem solver who can address an issue on the fly.

CLU, CFP, ChFC will be preferred. LOMA I & II required or will be required during the first year.
