Regional Underwriting Officer - Contract Surety job in Los Angeles

General Placement Service has been engaged by a highly rated insurance carrier to recruit a senior level underwriter who can work autonomously managing the western region for contract surety production and underwriting.

This role will handle standard, mid-range surety with some focus on unique or risky classes within the construction niche of surety. My client expects this new hire to have excellent agency relationships in the western region and have the ability to identify additional, quality agents to appoint.

To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 years contract surety underwriting experience. This can be in the standard or non-standard space. A degree and designations are preferred.
