Renewal MGA Underwriter to 55K Pittsburg, PA
Well established excess & surplus lines wholesale brokerage/mga with regional and national platforms is seeking a Renewal MGA Underwriter to join their marketing and production driven team. The Renewal MGA Underwriter will be responsible for meeting revenue goals through independent account management with regard to the brokerage and binding authority renewal book of business and lending a hand on processing new business accounts when deemed fit. The qualified candidate will have 2+ years of experience working commercial and/or professional liability property and casualty policies, as well as experience with contract binding p&c carriers and underwriting portals. Proven technical and business development skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be a team player and have the professional qualities to manage a desk. To 55K base (DOE) including bonus program, full benefits package.
