Senior Underwriter - Workers Compensation job in Indianapolis

Leading insurance provider has an immediate opening for a Senior Workers Compensation Underwriter. This company has been providing specialty insurance products for over 75 years with a primary focus in the transportation industry. The Senior Underwriter will maintain relationships with assigned agents to build and grow a profitable book of business.

In this role, you will:
• Underwrite all new and renewal business
• Classify and rate each risk to determine acceptability, coverage and pricing
• Set standards of excellence and monitor compliance

To be qualified, you should have:
• 3 - 5+ years of Workers Compensation Underwriting experience
• Technical knowledge of loss sensitive practices
• Bachelor’s degree and industry designations preferred
