Communicate with clients as needed to address questions/issues pertaining to service level agreements (SLAs), requests or changes.
 Provide on-call availability for escalation of urgent issues and cases and provide managerial decisions after business hours.
 Evaluate procedures and processes on a continuous basis and make improvement suggestions on an ongoing basis to address variety of client and organizational needs.
 Analyze information and evaluate data related to Operations and present reports as needed.
 Monitor timelines and quality of casework, telephone queues, call statistics, calls, break/meeting schedules and query clean-up.
 Perform regular and periodic reviews of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure they are current and designed for optimum efficiency.
 Manage Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts and follow-thru action item tracking
 Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
 Manages staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
 Supervises 2 operational direct reports and a staff of 25. Starting salary $80-95K.

Qualifications:

7+ years previous experience working a Health insurance environment, preferably within a TPA organization
 5+ years of supervisory experience combined with exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to hire, build and motivate high performing work teams.
 Experience supervising multiple cross-functional teams and successfully balancing the priorities and needs of diverse operational groups
 Visionary, forward-thinking, progressive attitude with a strong focus on process improvement. Lean management experience a definite plus.
 High degree of computer proficiency with previous experience working with Claims Processing systems
