Implements process to create reliable and accurate, economic, industry and business data forecasting and modeling. Create a variety of forecasting models, including projections and feasibility studies. Compile, analyze, present and interpret complex financial and statistical information to facilitate decision making. Perform trend and competitor analyses for various business units. Ability to analyze complex financial concepts to internal users for use in client communications. Analyzes and reports on the financial impact of current and proposed programs. Conducts cost/benefit analysis for various projects. Responsible for asset management activities to include reviewing financial statements of operating performance, testing financial performance against contractual benchmarks, and compiling portfolio cash flows. Maintains all related files, reports, and spreadsheets ensuring compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines. Five or more years’ progressively responsible financial analysis experience including two or more years of property and casualty insurance industry experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (STAT) and regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the insurance industry. verbally and in writing. Must be a Power Excel User. able to access data sources using SQL.
