With their sights set on substantial growth in the Risk Retention Group, this A.M. Best rated “A” insurance company has a huge opportunity for you as the Director of National Accounts. You’ll join at just the right time as the company is rethinking its approach to risk consulting for large healthcare accounts (hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians’ group and so forth). Your primary focus will be business development and sales with secondary support in account management.

**You can live and work in any region where the company currently does business. Specifically, this includes Arizona, New Mexico and states in the Midwest, Mountain West and Pacific Northwest.

Key Business Development Objectives


1. Identify and seek out potential national accounts through C-suite contacts and financial leaders
2. Create and execute strategies for a national footprint with many untapped territories requiring customized techniques for business development and relationship management.
3. Creates processes around performance metrics and indicators, pipeline building, activities-based action steps and pre-post sale relationship reviews.

Key Account Management Objectives


A joint team effort, existing relationships could be fostered by other sales reps however you’ll get involved to collaborate on: leveraging accounts for referrals, maximizing profitability, serve as a go-to point of contact for clients and ensure a commitment that sets high retention standards.
We’d love to hear about your expertise working in the insurance industry at a national accounts level. This position requires captive or risk retention group consulting experience. A minimum of ten (10) years of career experience is important plus the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Salary:  $140,000 - $180,00
Bonus/Benefits:  Competitive
