Broker Assistant job in South Jersey/Monmouth County

 Assistant Broker-South Jersey
Established property and casualty agency/brokerage is seeking a qualified Assistant Broker-Commercial Lines. Providing support and working with a Senior Level Broker, the qualified candidate will have knowledge of casualty insurance including General Liability, Auto and Umbrella/Excess. Must be well organized, have ability to handle multiple tasks and be able to work in a fast paced work environment. Must possess communication skills to work with carriers, retail brokers, internal personnel, etc. Will be required to gather information from brokers/agents and assist the Senior Broker to further grow the book of business. Attention to detail and communication skills essential. Potential opportunity to take on more broker responsibilities. College degree preferred, not required. P&C License a plus. Excess and surplus lines experience preferred. Good computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Excel, MS Suite of Programs, etc. Training on company programs will be provided. 50K-55K based on experience, benefits package included.
