Four ways to stay focused when working from home<\/h3>\n

  2. Set up an office area.<\/strong> Working from your couch may be comfy, but it also puts you within easy access of your family members and pets, which can be distracting. But if you set aside a room or area of your house as your desk, you can keep all your supplies in one convenient place. Just like being in the office! Plus, when you sign out for the day and leave your office area behind, it helps create separation between work and your free time, which is important to help you maintain balance.<\/li>\n
  3. Get ready.<\/strong> It may seem silly to wake up, take a shower, and do your hair every morning. But this can be important to help you get started and motivated to work. It will help you maintain a sense of normalcy\u2026 plus, it\u2019s also helpful if you\u2019ll be on any video conference calls!<\/li>\n
  4. Take your breaks. <\/strong>Just because you\u2019re home, it doesn\u2019t mean the regular rules don\u2019t apply. Taking your 10-minute breaks and lunch break allows your mind to relax and refocus, so you\u2019ll return to your tasks fresh and ready to work. Being at home, you have different opportunities during break time, such as taking a walk or run, doing an online yoga class, having lunch with your family, doing a load of laundry or watching an episode of your favorite show.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
