Construction Insurance Account Manager. Orange, CA.

This is for a well-known / well-regarded regional insurance agency that has focused (about 75%) in the commercial construction space since its inception.
The more experience you have in construction insurance, the better – but the client won’t discount someone with only 3 or 4 years.
The majority of the accounts are in the commercial contractor space (like public works contractors and apartment building contractors).
CSR support is there to assist you and AMS 360 is their agency management system.

 You’ll be involved in watching over claims that your clients have (p&c & work comp) to help facilitate proper/speedy closure by the carriers.

 You’ll be supporting the owner in overseeing their book, which is over $1M in commissions, with quite a few accounts well over 6 figures in commissions.

 You’ll also be involved in the proper issuance of contractors certificates of insurance, ensuring that the certificates are properly matched with the contract that they pertain to.

They pay 100% of the cost of the employee’s medical insurance, give 3% towards your 401k (even if you don’t contribute to it), and, after one year of employment you are eligible to participate in their profit sharing plan.
