Loss Control/Safety Consultant (Reno, NV)

Our client a well-established Insurance Broker with offices in No. California, Nevada and Arizona is seeking a Loss Control/Safety Consultant. This position will report to the Risk Management Department, promote recognized safety practices among businesses covered by state and federal safety and health laws and regulations. This role will perform safety inspections at workplaces throughout Nevada, California, and other states as needed.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years of industry experience. Must have experience interacting with regulatory agencies and their representatives.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates acceptable
• Minimum of the OSHA 500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction OR OSHA 501 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
