** Wanted: P&C Binding Authority Underwriter for MGU/Wholesaler - TX and NC/GA**
The Rogan Group, Inc. a Risk Management and Insurance Recruiting firm is assisting a national insurance wholesale brokerage client in identifying P&C Underwriters to join their team. Our client has multiple offices across the country and is growing due to private equity backing.

Client Profile:
• Privately held MGU/Wholesale Broker (Private Equity backed)
• Member of wholesale group that generates 720M GWP
• National carrier relations, offices in 8 states and 50+ employees
• Focus: Contractors, Property, Events, restaurants, Inland Marine, Truckers, Garage Liability, Waste Haulers, E&O, Pollution, Livery, Excess/Umbrella.

Position Outline:
The P&C Binding Authority Underwriter will be responsible for Underwriting P&C business stemming from the agent network. The position will be responsible for understanding insurance carrier manuals and for applying those underwriting guidelines. This is an in-house position (not a production underwriting role). Accounts will come from local, regional and national brokers and will focus on the programs stated above. Open positions in Fort Worth & Frisco, TX; as well as Charlotte, NC & Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a P&C Wholesale (or Carrier) Underwriter in the small to mid-market sector.
- Background with the above outlined commercial lines niches is helpful but not mandatory.
- College degree preferred (professional designations a plus).
- Salary open DOE and there is a bonus based on book profitability. Benefits and Retirement plans included.
