Chief Revenue Officer job in Southeastern US

Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) wanted – Southeast Location (but will consider work from home in other areas)
The Rogan Group, Inc. a Risk Management and Insurance Recruiting firm is assisting an Employee Benefit TPA with a national search to locate their next Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Our client is a PE backed, growth oriented firm that supplies employee benefit transparency and compliance to Fortune 1,000 companies.

Client Profile:
• Business type: Employee Benefit TPA
• Services: Enrollment, Education, Compliance, Benefit Plan Mgmt. Software
• Privately held with Private Equity backing
• 4 locations with Birmingham, AL HQ. Other locations are: MA, WI and Canada
• 15% average annual growth and 25% EBIDTA
• Sales Channel: Insurance Retail Brokers and Carriers

Position Outline:
1. Title: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
2. Duties:
a. Sales management and mentoring (currently 12 sales staff members)
b. Responsible for overall sales plan and scaling of sales unit
c. Management of recruiting process, training and mentoring new sales staff
d. Develop and maintain key contacts at national brokers and carriers
3. Position location: S.E. desired (AL, GA or NC) but open to home office withy travel
4. Top current broker partners: MMA, Willis, Hub, USI and Alliant (sales channel)
5. Compensation targets (175-250k is salary target DOE, with variable in the 0-50% of salary range)

Qualifications:
• Sales and sales leadership experience, selling thru an insurance brokerage channel
• Employee Benefits knowledge (EB TPA Services experience a major plus)
• Regional/National retail agency contacts and relationships
• History of building and scaling sales teams
• BA Degree (advanced degree and L&H licenses/designations are a plus).
