Commercial CSR / Assistant Account Manager.  Orange, CA.


This position is with a nice size regional insurance agency that pays 100% of your health insurance costs, puts 3% into your 401k (even if you don’t contribute), as well as a profit sharing and pension plan that start after you’ve met the required waiting period.


The client asks for a minimum of  3+ years of retail agency support experience.  (Experience with contractor’s/construction industry insurance requirements is a must).

A P&C license is preferred but not required.

AMS 360 is their agency management system.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Account Executive requests in a timely, effective and professional manner
  2. Respond to client requests in a timely, effective and professional manner
  3. Follow agency systems, procedures and timeframes
  4. Set up client marketing files according to agency procedures and timeframes
  5. Add and maintain client files on the computer according to agency procedures
  6. Perform rating functions on various carrier websites
  7. Process policies, endorsements and endorsement requests according to agency procedures and timeframes
  8. Issue certificates of insurance, with the appropriate endorsements and attention to detail, and according to agency procedures and timeframes
  9. Issue insurance applications, identification cards, etc., according to agency procedures and timeframes
  10. Keep suspense items current according to agency procedures
  11. When necessary, contact clients and/or insurance carriers for information or to perform service
  12. Make photocopies and scan various documents
  13. Perform miscellaneous projects as requested by supervisor
  14. Attend 90% of all training and meetings held by the agency
  15. Adhere to agency’s attendance policy


Salary $40-$60k (DOE).

They offer 2 weeks of vacation plus 6 PTO days.
