Personal Lines Assistant/Retail Brokerage to 60K(DOE)  NYC

Property and casualty retail agency/broker with a long history of providing commercial and personal lines services, is seeking a Personal Lines Assistant to work in conjunction with the Personal Manager to provide personal lines support in marketing, servicing and expanding profitable Personal Lines policies and accounts. Assisting the new business and retention objectives of the Personal Lines Team. Qualifying, preparing and submitting quotes and proposals electronically. Collecting, processing and forwarding underwriting information. Handling “on-line” policy submission and following up on outstanding requirements. Processing evidence of insurance and issuing binders as necessary. Validating renewal policies, endorsements and cancellations. Processing telephone, fax or written requests. Creating entries within Agency Management System to ensure timely follow up and resolution. Entering and maintaining client information within an Agency Management System according to compliance guidelines. Qualified candidates must have personal lines account management background, 2-4 years of service/account management or administrative experience from a retail agency/brokerage or wholesale brokerage. Carrier Personal Lines candidates will be considered. Strong technical, computer(MS Office), organizational and communication skills, as well as experience with agency management systems. College degree preferred, p&c license required. To 60K base depending upon experience.
