This claims and audit advisory client has become an adviser and partner to major insurers and reinsurers, Fortune 500 companies, law firms, MGAs, brokers and captives.

Due to rapid expansion of their insurance consulting services, we are seeking a dynamic and professional person to serve as a Medical Malpractice Claims Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of 4-6 Adjusters handling medical malpractice, nursing home facility and long-term care claims.

The Medical Malpractice Claims Project Manager analyzes and processes complex/technically difficult claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim; manages claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution.

Skills, abilities and experiences needed for this position:

• 10+ years of medical malpractice, medical/nursing home facility and long-term care claim experience.
• Supervisory experience managing a claims unit or TPA.
• Mediation/Arbitration experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
