Underwriter-Excess Property job in Los Angeles

A+ property and casualty insurance carrier is seeking a senior level Underwriter-Excess Property. This is an addition to the team, based on profitable business and strong results. Excellent Manager and dedicated loyal team writing excess property business through retail and wholesale distribution channels. No restrictions based on geographic region or broker relationships. Cohesive, energetic and collaborative group. 5-7+ years of property underwriting, preferably excess property, and background working with large retail and wholesale brokers. 3+ year property underwriters motivated to succeed will be considered. Degree preferred. CPCU, CIC designations a plus but not required. Strong technical, business development and energetic underwriters encouraged to apply. To 130k base, DOE, (can go higher for the right candidate), bonus, full benefits and positive work environment.
