Safety/Risk Management Consultant – Reno, NV

Our client, a well-established Large Regional Insurance brokerage firm with an emphasis on risk management services is seeking a Safety/Risk Management Consultant for their office in Reno, NV.

Position Outline:

• Provide Professional and technical loss prevention services to client and prospects
• Make recommendations regarding both routine and highly complex loss prevention issues through education and program development

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in loss control or safety engineering
• Knowledge of and understanding of Nevada OSHA, Cal/OSHA and MSHA, MSAT’s
• Experience with a variety of training programs such as advanced fall protection, scaffolding, forklift, etc…
• Familiar with NFPA, UBC, IBC, PSHA, MSHA, FMCSA, NEC, FM and HPR
• Skilled in presentation of training programs
• College degree preferred
