Senior Underwriter - Professional Liability job in Chicago

General Placement is partnered with a growing healthcare insurance intermediary that is adding to staff in their downtown Chicago office. They are seeking a Senior Underwriter that will handling marketing to wholesale distributors in the midwest region and underwriting their new business submissions. Their products include malpractice insurance, healthcare E&O, allied health, and several others.

The senior underwriter will take over a small book of accounts with the expectation of growing that book through profitable risk selection and active business development in the wholesale marketplace.
