Territory Underwriting Manager - Workers Comp job in Richmond

Our client is an top-rated and financially stable insurance company that specializes in writing Workers Compensation risks throughout the country. They are currently seeking a Territory Underwriting Manager to manage their agency partners in the Carolina Region. They write through independent agents and focus on accounts ranging from $30K-$1MM++ in premium.

In this role, you will:
• Oversee strategy and new business throughout the specified territory
• Meet with both new and existing agents to discuss the products offered and the value proposition of writing with this company
• Underwrite new and renewal business developed from the agency plant in your territory

To be qualified, you should have:
• 3+ years of underwriting experience - preferably with a focus in Workers Compensation
• Bachelors degree, industry designation or equivalent experience
• Occasional travel required throughout
