Lead Internal Auditor/Manager – Insurance Industry, Greenwich, CT (CTAuditMgr)
A leading global Property and Casualty insurance company is looking for a Lead Internal Auditor/Manage for their Fairfield County, CT office. The essential functions of this position include: Leading internal financial and operational audits across all areas of the company; Evaluating the effectiveness of the controls examined; Documenting the reviews/evaluations and drafting recommendations to rectify the control weaknesses; Supervising the team and projects; and Performing planning and testing of key controls over financial reporting. You will work closely with the operations teams and the senior business unit management in the US. This exposure to the overall operation and senior team creates an excellent career development path.


You will work closely with other internal departments, review all audit recommendations, maintain and update the audit remediation log, and present audit findings to company executives and the audit committee. You will have only a minimum amount of travel to major cities in US. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5-7 years of public accounting firm and/or Fortune 500 company internal auditing experience, CPA or equivalent financial reporting experience, supervisory experience, knowledge of IT and operational audits preferred, and insurance/finance industry experience.
