Entry level/Junior Underwriter job in Quincy

A+ property and casualty carrier is seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to provide administrative, technical and business development support to the Underwriting Team, servicing New England. The qualified candidate will have 1-3 years of property and casualty insurance experience, coming from a carrier, broker, tpa, mga or related insurance environment, currently working as a Technical or Broker Assistant, CSR, or in a support role. Recent college graduates with degrees in risk management, mathematics, accounting, finance, business administration or actuarial seeking an entry in the insurance industry are encouraged to apply.  Customer Service Representatives with agency/brokerage background looking to move to underwriting also encouraged to apply. Bachelors Degree preferred(professional underwriting growth opportunities) but not required. 45K-50K base, full benefits package. South Shore/Braintree/Quincy Region.
