Senior Underwriter - Workers Compensation - Charlotte job in Charlotte

Our client is a highly reputable insurance company that specializes in Workers Compensation Insurance for high-hazard industries. They are seeking to hire a Regional Underwriter to manage and grow an existing book of Workers Compensation business. They distribute their products through independent agents. The position will work from any of their regional offices - Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville or Birmingham.

In this role, you cultivate and maintain relationships with agents with the goal of increasing the submissions and growing the book. You will underwrite new and renewal business using the company platform and working in conjunction with the other departments - loss control, claims, auditing, etc.

This company writes many high-hazard industries - construction, manufacturing, logging, mining, etc. Experience with these markets, or other hazardous industries, is a benefit for consideration.
