Chief Business Officer – Insurance Company (Southeast)

The Rogan Group, a Risk & Insurance Management Recruiting firm is currently working with a growing Insurance Company to bring in a Chief Business Officer to their headquarters in the Southeast.

• Privately Held Insurance Company
• 40+ Employees
• Niches: Professional Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, General Liability Insurance and Excess
• Growth Rate, 13%

Position Overview/Compensation Structure:
• Base Salary - $200,000 - $275,000 (Depending on Experience)
• Annual Bonus – 25% (Target)
• Key Leadership role/ Executive Team Participation
• Vital member of management team in pursuit of organizational growth
• High level of autonomy and visibility as the senior economic advisor and leader
• Responsible for overseeing and orchestrating Finance, Accounting, Underwriting, and Actuarial units
• Strategic CFO/Business Leadership Position

Qualifications:
• Qualitative Requirements – Emotionally Intelligent, Entrepreneurial, Innovative, Inspiring, Future Focused, High Energy, Servant Leader, Long Term Planner/Big Picture ability, Facilitator
• Quantitative Experience– Senior Economic Advisor for the company, with the following responsibilities (Insurance Carrier CFO/CBO past experience)-
o Management of Finance, Accounting, Underwriting and Actuarial…with view on ROI
o Ability to review, assess and revamp (create) as needed
o U.S. GAAP Accounting experience
o Experience with budget, financial statements and forecasting
o Ability to present financial reports to senior management and act as Corporate Treasurer
