Construction Account Executive White Plains, NY Are you interested in joining one of the best regional brokers in the north east? In this role you will provide a high level of client facing customer service to construction clients and sales support to the staff as directed. Your ability to be the subject matter expert and demonstrate independent judgment and discretion in order to meet those service levels for contractors and construction accounts is required. Your duties include assisting in selling, direct selling, marketing, and customer service in coordination with other Agency personnel. You will work with the Producer to design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to Agency clients. Responsibilities: You will Develop complete client information and applications for new and renewal business and guides the client through the process in conjunction with the producer where necessary. You will work on renewal exposures, and submits requests to carriers according to the renewal process timetable, follows up with carrier underwriters and completes the appropriate renewal per Agency procedures. You will Review claims data for discussion with the client and carrier. You will processes change requests/endorsements, binders, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit, and account balance status when requested. This also includes ensuring that these items are given to client in a timely manner. Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients. Responds to requests from clients and insurance companies. Maintains files with proper records according to Agency procedures. Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives in order to enhance business relationships. Refers current and prospective clients to other Agency departments for solicitation of other lines of business. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education, Skills and Experience: Full knowledge of insurance markets and have at least three years of working with contractors and construction accounts. Appropriate current insurance license(s). CRIS ( Construction Risk Insurance Specialist) or CPCU or ARM Designations are well respected by this client- Bachelor's degree (B. A.); and/or a minimum of five years of insurance account management or account executive experience. You will need to have knowledge of the agency management system; Internet applications and Microsoft Office software.
