Chicago, IL This well respected client is a national insurance program manager with nearly 70,000 policy holders and more than $200 million of written premium. The company’s current distribution channel consists of more than 3,000 independent brokers & agents across the United States. You will work from home and go into the office as needed after the initial onboarding and in-house training. 60% of your time is working with existing brokers and agencies. You will have annual production goals to meet – these goals include a new business goal for each product sold, and an overall goal of total new business expected for the year. In addition, a heavy emphasis is placed on opening new accounts and building relationships with agents who have either not worked with Client or have worked with Client on a very limited basis. Monthly bonuses in place center on developing these relationships further. Regional Sales Executives are expected to manage the entire sales/buying process including lead generation, qualification, solution development/presentation, and negotiations and closing. You will make anywhere from 30-50 calls/day prospecting for new business to new and existing clients when they are in the office, as well as setup appointments to meet with clients in person an average of 3-4 days every two weeks. Territories typically span multiple states or metropolitan areas and some travel is required. Work from pre-established individual production goals, track production and broker statistics. Acknowledge, qualify and develop leads sourced from teleprospecting and marketing. Strategically orchestrate resources both internally and externally throughout the sales process to close business. Have a minimum of 40 viable telephone conversations a week with leads and accounts by making between 30-50 calls/day Face-to-face customer/prospect meetings – an average of 3 to 4 days every 2 weeks. Work hand-in-hand with service underwriters to maintain excellent client relationships Accurately capture and report all aspects of account and submission information within Salesforce.com, including managing an accurate and up-to-date pipeline and forecast. Background/Experience Desired 2+ years previous direct sales experience Teleprospecting background preferred 2+ years insurance industry experience desirable Bachelor’s degree required
