Personal Lines Manager
White Plaines, NY
You will manage a book of business, supervises department personnel, meets with insurance company personnel, develops marketing plans for new sales and account rounding.
Responsibilities Include:
You will execute the company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
You will be responsible for providing high level support and customer service to the clients and perform the essential functions of a Senior Account Executive
Your duties include monitoring Personal Lines sales. Provides day to day direction and training to those involved in Personal Lines. Drives efficiencies. Standardizes processes and procedures. Promotes quality improvement initiatives.
Develops best practices and procedures to streamline workflow and allow department to run efficiently.
Reviews and oversees problem clients with personnel.
Monitors workloads of staff; assists when needed.
Meets with Company representatives to discuss underwriting, new products, procedures, production, loss ratios, business plans and book rollovers.
Reviews and manages the use of all available technology for Personal Lines.
Assists with training new employees and development of training procedures.
You will be actively be expected to promote account rounding and cross-selling within the department.
Plans and leads department meetings.
You will meet clients, both inside and outside the office for personal lines program reviews
You will visit and meet with insurance company-sponsored sales meetings and events.
Supervisory Responsibilities
You are responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or more than ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Appropriate insurance license. Valid driver's license.
