A&E Professional Liability Claims Adjuster job in Chicago

Our client a growing P/C Insurer is looking for a talented A&E Prof liability Claims Adjuster to add to their team.  You will handle all aspects of these specialty line claims including investigation, coverage analysis, claim action planning, exposure evaluation and settlement negotiations
Well versed in litigation handling and management.
Be a contributor to the program team to assist in meeting team objectives.
Effectively communicate with all levels of claims management
Work with underwriting as technical risk management support in the renewal process
Work closely with the Reinsurance brokers and carriers to ensure compliance with treaty requirements.
Ability to travel as required

Experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years? of experience in Professional Liability claims
Knowledge of various policy forms (including claims made and reported)
Good understanding of current legal trends and rulings in the particular coverage lines

Education
4 year College Degree
JD or advanced degrees preferred
Industry designation a plus, great benefit package
