Construction Risk Manager 80978 job in Houston

This is an exciting new opening for a multi-billion privately held national construction and development firm. The position is in Houston, TX, but will consider candidates from outside of the Houston area or outside of Texas.

With the support of the insurance and risk staff, you will oversee anything falling under the insurance and risk umbrella. You will negotiate contracts with major insurance brokers, interact with the carriers, be involved in any claims including workers comp and at all times be on top of any potential risk situations the firm may encounter.
The chosen candidate will most likely be out of a related field in a risk manager role. Someone who understands the complexities and risks of a construction and development firm is required. With ongoing construction in different parts of the country, it is imperative that this person is highly skilled and up to date in the field of insurance. Someone who has furthered themselves with insurance designations and further education is preferred.
