Large Property Underwriting Team Leader- P / C Insurance-Hudson County, NJ-(NJHPRLdr)

Our global client is seeking a Team Leader/Manager for their Medium-Large Account HPR Property Underwriting team to underwrite Fortune 1000 accounts for their office in Hudson County, NJ. In addition to leading the team, as a Sr. Property Underwriting Specialist in the primary property group, you will be responsible for underwriting property solutions for Fortune 1000 accounts. You will be responsible for some new business, renewals and retention. You will maintain relationships with brokers/insureds and maintain a book of HPR business. You will have broad limits and authority, have a good understanding of CAT exposures, and will work on some highly complex accounts, including reverse flow business. 07302

A minimum of seven years of Medium-Large HPR property underwriting experience in the region is required, as well as experience working with property loss control consultants and other departments. You will need at least two years of supervisory/management experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and experience with Microsoft office tools, pricing programs and CAT modeling software is needed. You will also need to have producer contacts within the region.
