P&C Retail Brokerage Producer job in Northern New Jersey/Morris/Bergen County

Established property and casualty retail insurance brokerage, continuing to grow and expand its portfolio in New Jersey and New York, is seeking a Producer to generate new business opportunities for commercial and personal lines small to mid level accounts in the Northern New Jersey/Bergen County region. The qualified candidate will have a strong history of production and the willingness to continue and produce new business as well as build a region for an established p&c insurance agency. Candidates can come from other retail insurance agencies in a production role or a direct writer looking to transitioin to the retail agency plant, and the willingness and desire to produce both commercial and personal lines. Strong back office support. Candidates with books of business that can be moved encouraged to apply. College degree preferred. P&C License required. Compensation is based on experience, including base/draw, commissions for new and renewal business, full benefits and more. This is a well structured agency plant with major carrier markets in place seeking to grow in various locations around the NY/NJ Region and will be seeking motivated, articulate and production goal oriented producers to join their team.
