Inland Marine, Director - South Carolina location job in Greenville

Our client is a National Property and Casualty Insurance Company with an office in South Carolina. They are seeking to add a Director / Product Manger to oversee their Inland Marine product line.

In this role, you will oversee underwriting results, profitability, growth, retention, and strategy for the Inland Marine book.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for product development of Inland Marine and making adjustments as needed
2. Involved in rate adequacy, product alignment and pricing to achieve maximum profitability
3. Develop, monitor and adjust strategic activities to ensure underwriting philosophy and practices are consistent with business unit goals
4. Represent the company in building strategic partnerships with top agents
5. Act as a company representative at agency meetings and industry events
6. Provide supervision, coaching and counseling to assigned staff
