Commercial Underwriter-Small Business job in Hartford Region

A+ property and casualty insurance carrier is seeking a Commercial Lines Undewriter for Small Business to underwrite new and renewall business, along with developing retail agency relationships in Connecticut. The qualified underwriter will have 3-6 years of direct carrier package or  multi line commercial underwriting of accounts up to 30K in premium. Proven background working with the retail agency distribution systems as well as providing professional customer service. College degree preferred. Designations a plus. 55k-85k based on experience as well as full benefits program. Qualified underwriters will be considered for relocation to Connecticut.
