Senior Specialty (E&S) Underwriter Wanted in Las Vegas, NV & Scottsdale, AZ Our client, a member of a Top 10 Worldwide Insurance Holding Company, is looking to recruit a Senior Specialty (E&S) Underwriter to their team in Las Vegas, NV and Scottsdale, AZ. This position is due to expansion and will take over a book of business and further develop business through the retail agency network. Client Overview: •A ++ rating •50 offices in U.S. •Member of Top 10 Worldwide Insurance Holding Company •Names as a Top Place to Work by Business Insurance and Ward's. Position Overview: •Production Underwriting position •Will develop a retail agent network in NV (and parts of CA). •E&S Product Line (Average account size is 25-50k in premium) •Niche sectors will include: Contractors, Environmental, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Real estate, Retail and Excess Casualty. Qualifications: •5+ years of carrier or wholesale underwriting experience. •Proven production underwriting abilities. •E&S and/or Package experience. •BA Degree (or related work experience). •Designations desired (CPCU, ARM, CIC, etc). •Solid communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
