Institutional Markets (Life/Annuities) Actuary opening in Texas. Responsible for maintaining projection models and conducting business forecasting for Institutional Markets (IM) product portfolio (including Structured Settlements, GICs, Stable Value Wraps, BOLI/COLI, etc.); participate in earnings discussions and analysis of variances of actual results to plan; interact extensively with pricing actuaries; regularly report pricing developments to Senior Management. Ideal candidate is FSA with 7+ years of Life/Annuities experience involving some experience with IM products, including any of the following: Structured Settlements, GIC’s, Stable Value Wraps, BOLO/COLI, Private Placement Universal Life, or Variable Annuities; knowledge of valuation, modeling, assumption-setting, and/or STAT/GAAP accounting aspects of IM products preferred.
