Commercial P&C Carrier Multiline Production Underwriter - Columbus, Cincinnati or Dublin, OH (OHMLUW)

A global property and casualty insurance carrier is looking for a Multiline Production Commercial Underwriter to help with their expansion of middle market multiline underwriting in the region and you will work remotely in Ohio or near a major city. The medium size/middle market account Multiline Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting the existing and new business target segments in the region. Their products include property, general liability, workers' compensation, auto, package and umbrella. You will work closely with the other departments-marketing, claims, loss control operations, etc. to achieve the growth and profitability targets in the region.

The requirements are 5-7+ years of P&C middle market account multiline underwriting experience with a large admitted commercial carrier; Strong knowledge of core P&C lines-WC, GL, AL, Property, Package and Umbrella; Strong producer contacts in the region; Have a proven track record of developing profitable business; Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; Must be teamwork oriented; Have ISO experience; Insurance designations are a plus; Knowledge and experience with MS Office and rating tools; and a bachelor's degree required.
