We are currently interviewing for a Account manager with a great insurance company. Job Functions Responsibilities: • Receive client and company phone calls, handle or delegate resolution when possible, managing workflow to remove paperwork from Producers/Sales Associates. • Provide quotes and new coverage for existing clients. • Prepare applications, surveys and other documents for submissions and market new and renewal business in conjunction with Producers. • Set up proposals and check for accuracy. • Assist Producer with presentation of new and renewal proposals as requested. • Maintain direct communication with company underwriters and clients on servicing of accounts. • Manage workflow and workload for the assigned accounts. • Check policies, audits and endorsements. • Handle complex claim processing situations with client and/or company personnel. • Maintain controls on renewal expirations and binders. • Handle requests for binders, ID cards, etc. • Obtain expiration dates for policies not written by us to follow up and quote. • Due to changing business conditions, management may request that additional duties or functions are necessary to fulfill the job requirement. Seeing Hearing Talking* Reading* Writing* Reaching Stooping Use of Hands Walking Sitting for several hours Lifting up to 25 lbs * Proficiency of the traits marked above require English for business letters, memos, customer interaction, presentations, proposals, employee communications, community work etc. Job Specifications: • High school diploma with college degree or business school desirable. • At least six years of experience in underwriting or insurance agency service position. • Above average phone personality and ability to deal with people. • In-depth knowledge of commercial coverage and rating. • Holds professional designation or is actively pursuing (CISR, CPSR, CIC). • Holds Texas property-casualty insurance solicitors license.

Bonus/Benefits:  65,000-70,000 DOE
