Commercial P / C Multiline Underwriter – Atlanta, GA (GAMLUW)

A property and casualty insurance provider is looking for a Multiline Commercial Underwriter to help with their expansion of multiline underwriting in the construction industry and you will work in the Atlanta, GA regional office. The medium size account Multiline Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting the existing and new business in the construction industry segments. You will need to be experienced in underwriting general liability and auto, and a plus would be inland marine and other core commercial lines of business. You will work closely with the other departments-marketing, claims, loss control operations, etc. to achieve the growth and profitability targets. 30339

The requirements are 4-6+ years of P&C middle market account multiline underwriting experience with a commercial carrier; Strong knowledge of core P&C lines-GL, AL, IM, and also some WC, Property and Package; Producer contacts in the region; Have a proven track record of underwriting profitable business; Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; Must be teamwork oriented; Have ISO experience; Insurance designations are a plus; Knowledge and experience with MS Office and rating tools; and a bachelor's degree required.
