Director of Operations - Group Benefits Insurance - Boston, MA

Our client, a Nationally Recognized firm is developing a private benefits marketplace that aims to fundamentally change the way small to mid-sized employers and their employees manage benefits. This Health Marketplace’s technology platform provides access to health plans and insurance products from the nation’s leading insurance carriers and benefits providers. Employers and employees can access and manage their benefits through the platform, minimizing administrative burden and complexity, maximizing the value of workplace benefits.

This is an integrated approach to benefits management with ongoing support that doesn't end with enrollment. A marketplace that is rooted in choice, with multiple carriers, multiple plan options, and multi-channel service (mobile, web, phone)

Position Responsibilities:

Will report directly to Vice President of Operations. The position will be responsible for supporting implementation process and on-going operations.

Duties will include:

•Implementation best practices

•Work closely with vendors and technology partners to supply EB services

•Involved in all programs / services, deep knowledge of implementation programs

•Assist in developing the EB service model

•Supporting end to end delivery of employer focused operations

Qualifications:

•BA or MBA (MBA Preferred)

•10+ years in the health and welfare outsourcing arena, with strong implementation skills

•Middle market and large account experience in Health & Welfare (300-5,000 lives arena)

•Proven ability in project management and implementation in client service models

Location:

Boston, MA. However, travel may be up to 30%
