Director of Finance job in East Coast

Director of Finance – National Broker (Eastern Coast of Florida)

Our client, a Top National Broker is seeking a Director of Finance that will be responsible for all accounting activities in a $36 Million revenue retail office including the implementation of financial strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses. In addition, this individual will oversee all daily accounting functions of the branch, monitoring accounts receivables, approving all check requests, closing each month, preparing & distributing all month end reports and creating an annual budget. In addition to the accounting responsibilities, this person will supervise four experienced accounting personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a business or financial related discipline

• CPA Preferred

• 5+ years' experience in a similar position

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and people without stress overload

• Team player with the ability to effectively interact with other individuals

• Strong communication skills

• Strong ability to prioritize

• Self-motivation

• Must possess a strong sense of urgency, demonstrate a willingness to hold yourself and others
