Senior Risk Engineer/Commercial Property job in Atlanta

A+ property and casualty insurance carrier is seeking a Senior Risk Engineer-Commercial Property to work remotely in the Atlanta area. Concentrating in the Southeast Region including Oklahoma and Texas, the Senior Risk Engineer will perform complete property risk evaluations of highly complex prospects and existing accounts to identify exposures, evaluate controls and active pursuit of recommendations compliance. Establish focused risk improvement process through a consultative approach including the identification of client needs, establishing service plans that eliminate loss causes and actively assists clients with best practices focused on achieving their business goals. Bachelor of Science Degree with an academic focus on Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or Risk Management and/or extensive experience including relevant education/courses preferred. Very strong experience in the insurance risk engineering area and/or general industry loss prevention experience required including related loss prevention experience including: 1. Loss Prevention engineering and fire safety technology proficiency. 2. Advanced level of knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), FM guidelines and other similar technical standards, along with a working knowledge of commercial property insurance coverage’s, and risk evaluation techniques. 3. In-depth understanding of large sized industrial or warehousing operations. Travel, both day and overnight. Base salary 120K-140K including bonus plan, company car, full benefits package, 401K and remote/work from home office.
