Commercial Underwriting Assistant
A+ national carrier is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Assistant to join their Northern NJ office. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years commercial p&c underwriting support/underwriting assistant experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career candidate looking to take the next step in their career and grow with an established insurance carrier. The chosen candidate will join a team of UA's to provide all manner of underwriting support to the Underwriting Managers and Underwriters within the office, and will need to have experience and understanding of rating new/renewal/endorsement business, policy wording, as well as, working with agents to resolve disputes/inquires/requests and process any necessary reports and documentation. Candidates must have a 4yr college degree, and industry designations (or pursuit of) would be preferred. Compensation will be dependent upon experience 40-60K+ plus benefits.
