The Client Service Manager will manage a large number of accounts of small to mid-size clients Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: · Working collaboratively and strategically with Client Executives to provide meaningful direction to clients · Providing assistance to Client Executives in reviewing and analyzing client’s insurance program to identify potential gaps or overlaps in coverage · Participating in client meetings, as requested · Managing the marketing / renewal process for all lines of coverage in place including preparation, submission of Specifications, negotiating with underwriters, preparation of Proposals, binding of coverage and invoicing of premiums · Reviewing policies to ensure that items were received as ordered · Preparing Outline of Insurance · Managing the implementation of new lines of coverage on existing clients · Reviewing and analyzing of insurance and indemnification sections of client’s contracts with third party customers, vendors, landlords, etc. · Ensuring all client documentation is maintained and organized per company’s procedures · Other duties as assigned Other/Soft Skill Requirements: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite · Thoroughly understand client’s insurance programs to provide the best possible service · Acting in a leadership capacity for the client, by keeping other company team members updated on client activity, gathering the support of necessary internal company resources to provide optimal support or deliverables to the client · Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge regarding all P&C lines of coverage by attending internal and/or external classes, industry events/seminars · Obtain/maintain valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in order to attend client/carrier meetings. · Maintain Broker’s license in State of Employment and maintain validity by completing continuing education courses · Demonstrate excellent communication, follow up skills, flexibility and ability to work in a fast pace, small team environment · Personify and adhere to company’s core values of Excellence, Professionalism, Integrity, Collaboration and Sense of Urgency. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree preferred with at least 2 years of related experience required · A valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in order to attend client/carrier meetings may be required · Broker’s license in State of Employment is required or must be obtained within 6 months of beginning employment · Additional designations such as CPCU, ARM, AINS or CIC desirable | |
