Our client, a well established and growing brokerage operation is seeking an Account Executive to join their Ocean Marine Cargo department in NYC. This position will report directly to the Marine Managing Director. The chosen candidate will have a proven background in all manner of account servicing within an ocean marine cargo environment, including coverage and program consulting/customer service, building and maintaining industry relationships, preparing and submitting proposals, working with and binding quotes, providing clients with risk solutions. Candidate must be experienced in marine insurance, particularly in ocean marine cargo and transit risks. Candidates with 5+ years ocean marine cargo account servicing experience are encouraged to apply. College degree expected, p&c license required, and industry designations a plus. Compensation will be dependent upon experience, 50-75K plus full benefits package.
